I really cannot wait to play this game with a group of friends! This looks like it'll lead to a lot of laughs and an overall light hearted, fun time (With a generous splash of blood, flesh and of course MEAT).
Overall, the concept it wonderful and it is very well thought out and fleshed out (no pun intended). The set up is very well explained and the Chimera Arm has to be my favorite part. I loved that a character sheet was included.
One thing that did kind of confuse me was the determining the aspect number. Do you roll a d4? Is it a point system?
Overall, such a fun concept and wonderfully gory idea! Thank you!
Note: I've never seen the podcast this is based on.
I really liked the flavor text from the podcast and the overall aesthetics! Having to choose a primary fear AS WELL as a secondary fear interested me overall because often it's one fear or flaw that a character has to overcome, but this allowed to round out the character more. Something fun would be able to roll on the table and randomly generate your fears.
There is a clear cut Win/Lose system that ties in well with the theme of the game with the use of bravery tokens and fear tokens. I did like there was options for larger games as well. Something that might be interesting to add to later editions would be to allow players to help one another face their fears so rather than rolling 1 fear die you can roll 1 or 2 depending on those willing to help and take the higher roll!
Thank you for the fantastic game!
