  • What a strong submission! You have got the documentation down and clearly know what you are doing. Your technical skills are at a very good level. Any improvements would be mostly in the textures. I think you can either push the stylized handpainted textures more, or the other way around, make the realistic textures more realistic with for example wear and tear and rust. In any way, it looks great!
  • Really nice shapes and silhouette! Awesome documentation showing your process too. The character is great and it's hard to find fault, being picky I would say your final renders could probably be pushed more to further improve this overall. For example the closer shot of the head, the lighting is a little dark around the face making it a little harder to focus on. I would maybe try to avoid rendering on jet black as well as it can hide edge details a little (and personally don't think it's super appealing). Having the gradient from the ground and the rim lights do help with this a bit though. Lovely job overall well done!
