You've got 14 Days, to design, build, and publish a working game demo. Game Jams are a great way to test ideas, build on your skills, and meet other awesome creative people.

Sexually explicit material is not allowed in this jam. Offensive and discriminatory games are also not allowed. If you game contains in-game violence, blood, and PG-13 rated content please add that to your games submission page
(this excludes in-game violence, mainly no suggestive themes, nudity, and so forth)
If your game goes against Twitch TOS we will not be able to stream it.
Do I have to use a specific engine or tool?
Feel free to flex your creative muscles. No limits on the tools you use - pick any game engine, art software, or audio recorder (DAW) that sparks your genius. [NOTE: Make sure that when you submit to the jam the game is player in either .exe or on a web browser]
Do I have to make everything myself?
You may use game assets that you have rights to use (Purchased, Free, Original assets), This goes for Art and Music. Using free assets or getting a coding assist is A-OK. [PLEASE do not submit a game you've already started earlier or even finished for other projects! ] NO AI Generated ART/Music/Code, you can use AI to help assist but it must not make the bulk of your code/art/music or be reliant on it.
Is there a maximum team size?
Nope! But we recommend keeping your team somewhat small to help keep communication simple. The suggested Team Size is 5 or less, but there is no limit to team size.
Can We Work on multiple projects?
As long as they were all started during the jam period! It's HIGHLY recommend spending your time working and polishing one game instead of trying to make multiple games
How is the games rated for Chill Jam?
The Rating for this Jam is simply a community driven rating. Winner will be determined based on number of votes and the ranking within the votes.
The main rating will be Enjoyability. Once the submission period has ended, everyone who has submitted a game, or is credited as a contributor on the game's page will be able to vote on other entries.
There will be 2 rating categories: Enjoyment, Theme Implementation
Once the rating period is over, you will be able to see where your game placed in each category and overall.
The winner(s) will receive a special role in the Discord server!
What If We don't have enough time to submit OR we missed the submission deadline>
Don't stress too much, this jam is intended to just be a fun escape or a fun challenge. We can work with those who miss the deadline by a short while but all submissions are due at the due date. During the rating period you are able to push game breaking bug fixes but can not add more content until after the week long. There is a *3* day grace period for late submissions
What is the Additional theme and wild card?
The wild card and Additional theme are 100% OPTIONAL themes to use, if you would like the additional challenge for developing your games demo
