Worlds seem the same, visuals are a bit inconsistent. The game itself doesn't really have any of the plot that the page mentions. As was already mentioned, the mechanic of shooting draining your HP without any indication, and dying taking you unceremoniously back to the title screen, are very confusing until you figure out what's happening.
Good work on finishing the game though!
i wanted to make different sprites for each word but got short on time, plot was made last minute, changed the game page so the mechanic of shooting draining your HP to the game page now hopefully no one gets confused, after the voting period i will try to make a visual indication for losing HP and make attacking only decrease 1 HP not 10 HP and add different sprites for each word.
Pretty simple, but I guess it gets the job done.
Not really much to comment about this, other than that I wish the "worlds" were more visually distintict instead of all looking the same, and I also wish you had made some sort of indication on wheter you're actually taking damage or not since it's kinda hard to tell. That would also make it easier to realize that shooting consumed your health since you didn't mention that on the page, so I took a while to understand why I was suddenly dying
Anyway here's a gameplay vid (I died on the 4th round sadly)
Potions also didn't spawn once I stopped shooting, not sure if that's a bug or not lolI will try after the voting period to add different sprites for each word and add indication for when taking damage, the Potions spawn when you kill a enemy and in the video you provided you did no open the inventory so the Potions did nothing the point of the attacks damaging you is you have to sustain and you can't spam.
