This year, the game jam topic is: Reset, Reboot, Re-energize.
Bring your ideas and create a game that tackles climate change - specifically clean energy!!! Join us if you are a game developer, artist, graphic designer, musician, narrative designer, writer or just simply interested in making video games or other interactive digital narratives. See the 2020 winners HERE.
THE WINNING TEAM WILL BE INVITED TO PRESENT THEIR DESIGN AT A FUTURE COST-INDCOR MEETING IN 2023, TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION COVERED (LOCATION TBA)!
Topic: Reset, Reboot Reenergize: Energy consumption and production account for the majority of global greenhouse gas emissions. Unfortunately, more than 80% of global energy is still rooted in fossil fuels. A transition to more inclusive, sustainable, affordable, and secure global energy systems are necessary. Innovation in clean technologies is important in achieving a transition to net-zero carbon emission. This must be done while maintaining energy security and access, environmental sustainability, and economic development. Therefore, this feat is complex, and our energy systems need to be re-energized through a massive reset and reboot.
