Welcome to Concordia Makes Games! 

Concordia Makes Games is a 48 hours game making marathon at 14th of May where participants collaborate together and make games. Organized by Concordia Game Dev, Concordia Makes Games Jam's goal is to bring all sorts of people together to collaborate and create games regardless of the skill level. Both beginners and veterans are welcome to join us for a weekend of developing games and have fun. 

This year, the committee has decided to make it as online game jam due to Covid-19. We created a dedicated discord server where you can meet and work with other jammers. We hope that all of you can learn something from this game jam and enjoy this event while in quarantine!

To prepare you well forCMG Jam and to contribute towards the growth of your overall knowledge of game development, we are providing you WORKSHOPS before the jam! 

Our partners including Ludia and Ubisoft have graciously offered to share their expertise on game development to all of you, so please join us during the livestreams on this Discord to learn from the experts themselves. Each workshop will last around 1h or 1h30 and will be followed by a Q&A period where you can ask anything you want. Workshops will be offered in English, but most of the hosts are also french speakers.

The 2 weeks of workshops will start the 10th of May and will end the 14th. The livestreams will take place in this server's "workshop" voice channel or to a dedicated platform requested by the host (Microsoft Teams, no sign up required). The times of these workshops is shown in the schedule.
