Fun game! We were able to get through it just fine. My only comment is changing the font size or style, as it was a little hard to read. Great job! Not to saturate the submission page, I commented with a playthrough my wife and did of your game on the game's page. :)  Good job! <3

Oh yea, I ended up spending most of my time trying to get the text rendering system to work. It will be fixed some time later when I have more time. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing!

Developer

Yep, I hope to do that when I have time!

This was a unique game! I've heard of some games that mess with people's files, folders, or PC's in general, but I don't think that there are many. I wish I had played it before watching Halfbolt Games' stream, but those that haven't are in for a treat (no pun intended lol). The one critique I have is to change the font. It's a great font, but best used for small sentences or just single words. Using it for paragraphs can be a bit overwhelming on the eyes and hard to read some of the characters. But other than that, this is good! I look for ward to what KevinWho creates next!

Developer

Yea, I hope to tweak the font a bit to make it nicer on the eyes in a later update. I was just in a rush and already spent a day on text when I only had 4. So yea, hope to fix that later.

Its a really cool idea.

Idk if its part of the game but I think flappy bird dont work.

There are just these pillars but no bird and no next game

Developer (1 edit)

Huh, I didn't have this problem, did you wait for a little? I know on some devices its a bit slow to actually show the pillars. As for the bird, that's pretty much the square, and you should see that instantly. Once you die you will be on a win screen, on there click to continue. If its not that then could you post a screenshot of what you see or a short video(that would be the best), that would help me try figure out what's going on.

Hey! Idk if it’s a feature but I can’t go past flappyflap

The game is kinda fun, I especially like the mood and creativity of being in a CLI and having to test games.

Developer (1 edit)

Once you die in flappyflap, you should be able to advance to the next game. To die you just need to crash into a pillar. What exactly was the problem? Once you die you will be on a win screen, on there click to continue. If its not that then could you post a screenshot of what you see or a short video(that would be the best), that would help me try figure out what's going on.

I had a bug the 1st time as well: the game told me when typing “run cookieclicker.exe” that there was no game found… I just restarted and it worked So, when launching flappy flap, the screen gets populated with pillars but no “bird”, I waited until my screen was white, I thought it was a weird and slow feature. Then I started it again but got the same issue…

NVM I got to A_Final_Goodbye.txt after a few attemps, IDK why but it seems that there is a random bug with flappyflap. The game was really fun, I’m sure with a moody and stressing music it could be even more fun ^^, well done!

Developer

Haha, sorry about all the bugs. I could say they were features since the game was about you bug testing, and while some of them were, others were not. Also, I pretty much tried to make this in 4 days so I didn't have much time for anything else.
