Welcome to the first ever Core Dev Jam!
This is a stress-free game jam hosted for beginners. The main focus of this jam will be having fun, experiencing what a game jam feels like and experiencing how satisfying it is to make a complete game of your own!

How to participate?
Just click that big red button to join the jam! When the theme is announced, use the game engine of your choice to make a game based on the theme given. Then, export that game on itch.io. After that, come to this jam page. Click on submit, and select that game. Next, play and vote others' jam submissions. (Treat others the way you like to be treated). Finally, come back to this page to see the results!
Rules
- You may participate in two jams at once if they happen at the same time and your game will fit both themes.
- Games submitted to the Core Dev Jam must not contain nudity, or hateful language or visuals.
- You may make a VR game, but consider that few people will have the tech to actually judge your game.
- You can support other platforms (such as Mac and Android) if you wish, provided there's at least one Windows / browser build
- Your game cannot require additional software such as an emulator, or a game like Super Mario Maker 2, Roblox, or Dreams.
- You may re-use some small bits of code, such as controller support. Use your best judgement, as mods will not be able to advise you on this.
