  • I like what this could become! Please consider completing it if youd like, It would be awesome.
  • There's lots of potential here ! I really enjoyed how you can't use the same thing twice in a row- but I couldn't *super* figure out how the combat itself works . I fear that the lack of a tutorial meant I couldn't appreciate it as much it's worth :(
  • Hope you can finish the game!
  • Adherence to Theme and Creativity: 4 Bang on the theme with a pretty straight forward game mechanic for robots, in upgrading and fighting! Gameplay Innovation and Enjoyment: 3 Combat feels a bit weird, and I'm not sure if sounds or some kind of visuals are missing to add to the console feel. I enjoyed the little bit that was playable. Technical Execution and Presentation: 3 It's such a shame for the missing feature as that would tie together the whole game. Presentation is nice other then the already expressed "issues" with me not fully clicking with the overall feel of the combat console. The icons are really well done though!

Okay so the game is clearly unfinished, I'll just pick out some random things I liked and areas for improvement :) I liked the design of the robot and the title screen--nice logo. The UI on the combat screen was nice and clear, I never had a hard time understanding what was going on. Some animations or pauses between actions would make everything feel a lot better and also slow the player down so the game would feel more tactical and less 'spam the three best attacks' :) The icons for each attack and attack attribute worked really well. The game desperately needs some sound effects! :D

So yeah, hope that feedback is helpful, and I hope you can get the game finished post-jam, I'd love to give it another go. :)
