In this game jam, the main theme is crime. You have the creative freedom to explore any aspect of the criminal underworld, from heists and investigations to espionage and assassinations. Whether you're into noir detective stories, action-packed thrillers, or mind-bending mysteries, the choice is yours.

Time is the essence of our existence, and in the 1st Crime Jam, it's also the enigmatic hidden theme that will ignite your creativity and challenge your skills. The concept of time is both infinite and finite, a river that flows and a clock that ticks. 

Is there a limited time? Maybe something related to a time bomb? 

What if time is money? or is your character doing time (in prison)?

How you interpret and incorporate time into your crime-themed game is entirely up to you.

THE HIDDEN THEME IS: Time

**📜 Rules and Guidelines 📜**

1. **Team up or go solo:** You can participate individually or collaborate with a team. The choice is yours!

2. **Game development tools:** Use any game development platform, engine, or framework of your choice. As long as it is playable on windows or inside the browser

3. **Game length:** Your game can be as short or as long as you like, but it must be playable within the given time frame.

4. **Graphics and sound:** You have complete artistic freedom. Create your own assets or use pre-existing ones (as long as you have the rights) – it's all fair game.

5. **Respect the hidden theme:** When it's revealed, embrace the challenge and incorporate the hidden theme creatively.
