This is the game jam where you throw fancy graphics out the window, and make the ugliest and crustiest thing imaginable! Prepare for JPEGs, clipart, stock images and comic sans abound!

Crust is very hard to explain. Common things found in "Crusty" media include clipart, stock images, clashing bright colours, low quality music or MIDIs, highly compressed and/or low resolution images and GIFs, bad MS Paint drawings, and the font Comic Sans (seen above).

Your game must be made entirely within the submission period.
Your game must be completely free.
Your game must be able to run on Windows 10, or as a web build.
Your game must fit some sort of definition of a video-game. 
Your game must follow Itch.io's Acceptable Use Policy.
Your game must not include any nudity or sexual content.
Maximum team size is 4 people.
Mods for other games do not count.
