Inspired by the inimitable Kazumi saying "wow i want a d66 song table jam now" and so I did it. Roll on the d66 table below to find a track, and make a game based on it!

CW: I have not had the opportunity to listen to all of these songs yet! I’m trusting my community to care for each other, and I apologise if any of the recommendations contain anything that makes you uncomfortable. If they contain discrimination or hate, please let me know and I will remove them from the list.

RULES

  1. This jam sees itself as part of SwordDream. For some loose principles that might go along with that look up the DreamJam.
  2. No games that promote discrimination against marginalized groups. If you have to ask whether your game promotes discrimination, it probably does. Games that are about resistance against discrimination are fine, but please put a content warning for the type of discrimination your game involves.
  3. Make your games as accessible as possible. Include plain-text, tagged PDF, or audio versions of your work. Make sure your text is high enough in contrast from your background, or include a version of your work in high contrast color. Test for colorblindness accessibility. Have a version of your work with dyslexic-friendly font. Include content warnings at the beginning of your document if you’re writing about sensitive topics.
  4. Feel free to submit WIP, unfinished works, and things you've started or completed before the jam.
  5. No unrelated games. Don't use this space to promote games that have absolutely nothing to do with any songs from this playlist. But, like, that's pretty broad.
  6. What's a d66? A d66 is just rolling two six-sided dice, calling one dice the tens, and the other the ones, to generate a number between 11 and 66.
