What's with this jam?

You ever wanted to make a game, a game, or a game, but realised you're bad at it? You know how to make a game, but want a break and something funny to work on? You're just here to vote? If any of those are true, this jam is for you! Da Bad Jam isn't specific on most things, but we strive for quality in our terrible games (At the very least, make sure the game-breaking bugs are funny).

Your game can be intentionally bad or unintentionally bad, as long as it's bad and yours.

What kind of games can I submit?

Any type of game can be uploaded to Da Bad Jam, as it is almost completely open!

Here's a few ideas:

• "Horror"
• "Narrative"
• "Comedy"
• "Text adventure"
• Literally anything else. We don't mind

What engines?

Any engine can be used for Da Bad Jam,  but our favourites are:

• Unity - Probably the best for well-polished bad games
• Scratch - Yes, really. For the worst of the worst
• GameMaker - If you insist

Rules

• Your game must have at least one intentionally awful aspect, whether it's the story, controls, physics, premise or others.
•  Ensure the content you use is either yours, licensed for use, or legally safe via
• Games should be mostly made within the jam period
• Content should be appropriate or include the current warnings if inappropriate for some audiences. While this jam is supposed to be awful, we need everyone to feel safe in this.
