Inspired by a prokopetz post and the avant-garde music movement Danger Music.

What are Danger TRPGs? Danger Music was an offshoot of the Fluxus school of composition, which experimented with the strict definition of what can be a piece of music and what qualifies as a performance. Fluxus music compositions could simply be a list of mundane actions, a scattered selection of evocative words, or simply a cooking recipe. They became music by virtue of being performed in front of an audience in an appropriate setting, in the same vein as John Cage's 4'33''.

Danger Music takes it one step further and posits that music can be music even if it cannot or should not be performed as written, only existing in the form of a premise. Typically, the key factor preventing performance would be the risk of physical harm, ranging from "volunteer to have your spine removed" to "creep into the vagina of a living whale".

Therefore, a Danger TRPG is a TRPG that shouldn't be played, where it's impossible to actually play the game as written without extreme risk to all parties involved, FIGHT TRUCK being the most pure example I've seen so far. This jam is about making Danger TRPGs. Sidestep the intricacies of dice statistics and leveling mechanics and focus on using the vehicle of play to capture that sense of peril, that sense of dread at the idea of actually subjecting yourself and 2-4 of your friends to it.

(Also, we all know that many people will buy a TRPG and just read it and never play it anyways.)
