The Goal
For Hosting and showcasing Dark games made After Halloween and up until Christmas this year 2024.
NOTE: This does not necessarily mean Horror games, but rather,
the general atmosphere that tends to come with it, like: Gothic, or Creepy but Cozy for example.
Theme: KRAMPUS
This time around, the theme that won community voting was Krampus.
Several other themes also tied as runner ups, these were: Cold Danger, Grievous Gift & Healing
The theme is optional, and will be announced when the Jam starts. Feel free to start your project before the Jam start, or consider submitting your current project to the Jam if it fits the theme.

Voting:
There are no Prizes in this Jam, but there will be voting period for giving / getting feedback. The voting criteria are:
- Fun ♦ - How engaging and entertaining the game was.
- Presentation ♣ - Rating the Audio and Visual Aspects of the game.
- Darkness ♠ - How well did the game execute the overarching theme 👻.
- Love ♥ - How much did you like this game personally.
Rules:
- Be respectful to fellow Devs in Community Forum and Discord Server.
- Submissions to this Jam must have been published between November 1st - December 31st 2024.
- It is okay if submissions do not fit the optional theme, but submissions must still be 'Dark'. This is the premise of Dark Jam.
- Submissions that do not follow stated rules will be Disqualified or Removed at Moderator Discretion
Q & A:
- Q: Submitting a game that you are already working on or have finished
- A: Acceptable as long as it's Dark AND, was published within November / December 2024.
- Q: Using Premade Assets / AI
- A: Acceptable. There is a credit section during submission where you can indicate what you used.
- Q: NSFW games and Adult content
- A: As long as you follow Itch.io rules and your game is marked in the Meta Tab as Adult you're good.
- Q: Are Late Submissions allowed?
- A: Yes of Course! You will have to contact the Jam Host for a personalized link to submit your game.
