INTRODUCTION

After last years impressive submissions, i've decided to start the second DC Code Club game jam. If you would like to see last years submissions, please click on this link: https://itch.io/jam/dc-code-club-jam/entries.

This Jam is primarily for Coding Society members but anyone can join.

 The game jam will be a two week long game development competition where participants will have to make a game following a specific theme. You are free to use any game development environment you find comfortable with (Unity, pytorch, scratch) and people can split themselves into teams of 1-6 people. Make sure to mention all your teammates within the description of your submission.

DATE

The date of this Game Jam will be on the 15th of October - 4th November 2024. After the submission period. A SELECTED PANEL OF JUDGES will judge the games. The winners will then be announced the next code club session

THEME

The theme is electricity! You can make circuits, fighting game character or anything electricity related into a game. Be as creative as possible as that is a marking criteria.

SUBMISSIONS

You can either submit the file to the game directly or submit a link (if for example, the game was made on scratch). Ideally, the game should be playable on the browser, if not the game must be compatible for both Mac and Windows so everybody can play/judge it.
