Played it to the end! Awesome stuff. The guard mechanic is pretty bugged so I just pretended it didn't exist. Even after the panic button, any enemy movement would hard lock the game.
The exert mechanic has some pretty great emergent strategies. I found myself choosing attack + rest often. Then exerting all my points for movement to get in, fight then get back out.
The equipment after combat was a little confusing but once you get it, it's easy. Would be nice to have an arrow tell you if it will increase or decrease min/max.
Would love to see this game revisited after the jam. Tons of potential.
