The goal of this jam is to make a game that applies the theme 'desert' in some way.

The desert. A barren wasteland that challenges those who dare to enter. Equally, this game jam sets out to challenge you, as a game developer, to bring life to this desolate location.

Time Frame:

The jam will run from April 20 - May 8, EST. Judging will end on May 14, EST.

Criteria:

Games will be judged by the following criteria:

• Overall Quality
• Art
• Music
• Design
• Entertainment

Rules:

• Third party assets are allowed as long as you provide proper attribution, if necessary.
• You may begin planning for your game before the start of the jam, but you may not begin development until the jam officially begins.
• You may continue to develop your game after the jam ends, but not until judging is over.
• There are no restrictions on cost or platform, but be mindful of the fact that games will receive less votes if less people are able to play them.
