What is a Design Jam? Design Jams are student made/run creative jams allowing a safe space to create a portfolio worth of content with constructive scoring/comments from peers. 

What can we hand in for a Design Jam? In a Design Jam participants can hand in anything from a game to art to sound and all between! This allows you to highlight your personal skills whether it is 3D modelling, coding and more!

What is the theme? Floating Islands is the theme this time

What tools or engines are allowed? All tools and engines are allowed, just be sure to keep in mind the available hardware. Try to at least have a build that runs on Windows if applicable. 

What assets can be used? You can use any functionality or assets that you have the right to use, including asset packs. Be sure to check your licensing and attributions. 

Are teams allowed? Yes, teams of all sizes are allowed to participate. 

What's the judging criteria? Rated on Fun, Creativity/Originality, Use of Theme, Polish. 

Who's judging the games? You guys will rate each others projects through a rating system and comments! Obviously be respectful and constructive!!! 

Can I build a mobile, VR, other? You can however your scoring may be affected and you must clearly show it on the presentation. 

Can I build a game in VR Chat? We request that all submitted games be standalone experiences, and don't require additional software. No NSFW, hateful visuals/language
