DevFest 4.0 Game Jam is an annual technical event aimed at celebrating the technical culture of BITS PILANI and India. This year, we are proud to partner with IGDC and Xbox to bring you an exciting opportunity!

Eligibility
Open to students and working professionals with up to 5 years of experience.
Preparation Period
This beginner-friendly game jam is the perfect way to get started with game development. For BITS PILANI Goa Campus students, we have an exclusive speaker session by Xbox India Lead and a game development workshop!
Theme/Problem Statement
The theme for this jam are :-
- Everything falls apart
- Stuck together
- Handle with Care
- Invisible Connections
- The sound of Silence
Rules
- Teams: 1 to 5 members per team.
- No restrictions on game engines or assets (ensure proper licensing).
- Games can be 2D or 3D.
- Final deliverable must be uploaded to itch.io in executable format (e.g., EXE for Win64, APK for Android, or WebGL for browsers).
- Games must be free or "pay what you want."
- Prepare a brief presentation or video (less than 10 slides or 10 minutes) to share your process and learnings.

Submission Guidelines
- Upload your game to itch.io.
- Set compression type to Gzip in Unity’s WebGL Player Settings (if applicable).
- Set the game as "released" (not "draft").
- Contact us via Discord or WhatsApp for submission assistance.
