This game is super polished! Amazing use of shaders and particles, all around, this game has a good feel to it. I appreciate the extra work to make things feel good. Good game!

Fun game and cute pixel art. The music is good too, and I can sometimes get into a pretty good rhythm with my fork stabbing.
Overall I think it's a bit simple, and probably could have done with 1 or 2 gameplay touchups, like randomly choosing what side a bug might spawn on to change up the back and forth motion, or add a bigger slower bug that takes additional hits.
Good stuff though and great submission!

I surivived for like a minute and a half.
I really like the effects used, the particles and camera shake effects made the game feel a lot more alive and the music used was top notch and seemed to match with the beat of my actions.
I do wish that you added more difficulity, like made the enemy spawns faster overtime or special events but other then that I enjoyed it.
Also the restart button doesn't seem to work :(
thanks for the review! the restart button was not working because I ported the game to webgl so some code don't work because webgl applications cant exit
