Interesting idea, but feels incomplete.
I'm a huge fan of Rogue, and all of its many descendants. I've also been getting into solo RPGs lately, and I had high hopes for this game. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations at all.
The rules are barely understandable in its current form. For example, the starting equipment is listed with a d4 roll... do you start with one piece of starting equipment, or all of it? In combat, you have hits, "when hits" and "hit an enemy" which are three different things, and attacks which is the amount of hits you can subtract in total (I think) from the hits of any enemies who you rolled to hit. It also says to resolve dice in any order, but also that you fight monsters all at once.
There's a neat idea here, but it's buried behind custom dice you need to print and fold yourself, an attempt to add a more complete narrative structure to a game that never had that much narrative to begin with, and rules that are both too complicated and too simple at the same time.
If a new version of this is released with clearer instructions and a bit more focus, I'd love to give it another shot. But for now, I can't recommend this.
