I've played a lot of YNFGs and few have blown me away in the same way Oversomnia has. The worlds are as beautiful as they are expansive -- but not so large as to feel empty. It's a perfect balance -- the pacing is extremely well done. There's always something to find around each corner. The world itself is extremely compelling and I'm personally incredibly fond of the bestiary. It gives just enough detail to tell a story, but leaves out just enough to keep the player wondering. This game is so good and it won't be leaving my mind anytime soon.
certified yummy nickel fan game, very sillay also cool protag design
The game desing and aesthetic are very nice, but i just wish the game would give you some clue of what to do instead of letting you roam around and find out on your on. To be fair i don't have a problem when games do that because you will usually find clues of what to do in the dialogue with other characters but in this game you can't initiate a conversation with any NPC so you just have to wander around with not much to do until you find out what is the objective.
