This is a really cool game with clean, high-quality pixel graphics and it has a good amount of content for a jam game. I played the original RPG Maker game and it was nice to see everything in this new format along with the new stuff. The reason I'm deducting a star is because of all the bugs (mostly related to collision detection). You can always get yourself unstuck by waking up, but for a game with such simple gameplay, there's really no excuse for this, even for a jam game. There's only one point where a bug caused me to get stuck with no way out but to wake up, but the slight feeling of dread you get when your character gets stuck in walls miles away from the starting point is unpleasant enough for me to consider this a serious downside. A save feature would be really nice too, but the game is small enough that you can manage without it. It's also rendered in a weird way where some of the pixels can be bigger than others due to stretching, but that's just nitpicking, it's the kind of corner you have to cut when you're on a tight time limit.
