The idea behind dungeonpunk is simple: Here's some starter rules, now go make and play YOUR game. It's a simple fantasy tabletop roleplaying game designed to act as a basic chassis on which to construct one's own home game with supplements, homebrew, and house rules. It is Powered By The Apocalypse and Forged In The Dark, though to a very stripped down degree, it aims to be a successor to DungeonWorld and be as OSR compatible as possible. It is released as creative commons zero, aka public domain, and available for free to print at home in a simple zine format: https://acegiak.itch.io/dungeonpunk

In order to kickstart the community creation ethos for dungeonpunk we're having a game jam. We want you to create a supplement, a house rule, a monster, a bestiary, a dungeon, an adventure, or any other piece of content to use with dungeonpunk (including content that is system agnostic!) and share it with us! The more the merrier! There is *no* minimum level of quality expected! Have a go, submit what you make! Typos, weird choices, and terrible stick figure art are all encouraged. Submissions that are free or "pay what you want" make it easier for more people to access them, but you are absolutely encouraged to put a price on your work as well.

The Jam runs for a 9 day week so that both weekends are included, and then the Saturday of the week after the jam, the 21st, we (Ash McAllan and some friends) will pick as many favourites that work together as possible and showcase them in an actual play stream live on twitch. If you want to join in the fun and playtest your own or other submissions, tweet about it with the #dunJAMpunk hashtag and we will spread the word and try to tune in!
