It's a really neat idea but man was this game hard. The last level takes a lot of precise movement and unfortunately the controls were not super precise. I was able to make it but it took a lot of attempts. The visuals were good but need some separation, it was really hard to see the moving platforms in level 3. The terrain color bled in with the background. Nice work and with some fine tuning this could be a fun platformer.
This game has potential but game jam version feels unfinished and underdeveloped. Grabbing wall is strange because of thin walls you are mostly sticking to. Rainbow level is unplayable. Platforms are tiny, move way too fast and are blending with the orange background. Even if I manage to land on them, player character is not following them resulting in frustrating level I wasn't able to beat in reasonable time. Also, the level design is mediocre as there are a lot of dead ends and no rewards to visit them. Player is safe to skip them and not lose anything. I also miss an arrow key controls. I prefer using them over WSAD for platformers. I think making both WSAD and arrow keys would be much better for all players as they have different preferences.
On the other hand, I love lose saturation effect when player is running out of colors. You can feel a color thief's job is almost done and you are trying to do your best not to let him win. Music is also fine and it fits game setting well. Player controller is rather complex as it includes double jump, wall grabbing and dash mechanic.
