This game fits the following themes:
- It Spread: since the players vision spreads as more bees are eaten and the players body spreads or grows as bees are eaten
- The End is Nigh: since the game is designed so that the player loses cells on the players body as time goes by acting as a clock for the player to complete the level in. Cells can also be gained however by eating bees.
- Bees: since the players objective is to reach the portal before it runs out of life; however, life can be gained by eating bees which give the player more life, greater vision, and more time to complete the level.

This game is one of the most unique speed runnable games due to the fact that the time and score is directly affected by the number of bees eaten. Eating bees gives you more time, life, and greater vision, but as time passes the players body decreases, and loses vision around him. To further help speed runners an exact score is posted to one thousand of the score to help speed runners keep track of their score.
