The Jam

Welcome to the Eggplant Game Jam! Or as it is more affectionately known in the community: The Eggjam 🍆🫙

For this jam we're doing something a little different—a fan tribute to the upcoming UFO50. In that vein we will attempt to create 50 jam games. So the jam will run a little longer than normal and have a few light restrictions to provide some coherency to our jam game collection.

Theme

As is tradition we have a  theme for the jam which is: Finding Poetry in Geometry

The theme was decided by vote in the #eggplant-gamejam channel of the Discord server and is based on the Eggplant episode 91: Finding Poetry in Geometry with Mahdi Bahrami (Tandis).

Restrictions

• Engine — Godot 3.5.3 (.NET if needed) using the godot-eggplant50-template (GitHub repo)
• Inputs — up, down, left, right, two actions, pause (à la PICO-8)
• Palette — Mail 24.
• Resolution — 640x360
• Audio — Crunchy 8–bit sfx & chiptunes

Make something you are happy to share, digital or otherwise. Feel free to reuse existing graphics, code, sound, etc.
