The jam will kick off on November 23rd, 2023, at 1:00 PM IST and will run for an entire week, concluding on November 30th, 2023, at 1:00 PM IST.

Whether you prefer to tackle this challenge alone or team up with fellow game developers, the choice is entirely yours! Collaboration can bring fresh perspectives and combine diverse skills, but it's completely optional. If you do decide to form a team, we suggest keeping it to around 5-6 people to ensure effective coordination and a smooth development process.

Voting Criteria:

At the end of the jam, it's time for the exciting part – voting on each other's games! Your fellow participants will be evaluating games based on several criteria:

1. Fun/Game Design: Assess how enjoyable and engaging the gameplay is. Consider the game mechanics, balance, and overall design in determining the level of fun it offers.
2. Graphics: Feast your eyes on the game's visuals and evaluate the appeal, quality, and creativity of the artwork, animations, and visual presentation. How visually stunning is the game?
3. Audio: Dive into the auditory experience and assess the sound effects, music, and overall audio elements. How well do they contribute to the gameplay and immerse the players?
4. Endless?: Determine whether the game truly lives up to its "endless" nature. Evaluate if it can keep players engaged indefinitely, creating a never-ending gameplay experience.
5. Overall: Provide an overall evaluation, considering all aspects of the game's design, creativity, and execution. How does the game stack up as a complete package?

Note: While no specific theme is assigned for Endless Jam 2023, we encourage you to explore and interpret any themes of your choice. Let your imagination run wild and infuse your games with depth and uniqueness.

1. Participate individually or form teams – it's all up to you! Choose the approach that suits your style best.
2. Let's stay within the timeframe! Games must be developed within the given week. Projects started before the jam or submitted after the deadline unfortunately won't be eligible for evaluation.
3. We're all about your creativity! The use of AI-generated assets or code is not allowed. Show off your originality and create assets and code specifically for this jam.
4. Feel free to use any game development tools or programming languages that inspire you. We can't wait to see the magic you create!
5. Originality is key! Plagiarism and the use of pre-existing assets not created specifically for this jam are strictly prohibited. Let's keep it fair and showcase your unique creations. [Pre-made assets/extensions from various contributors from itch or other sites are allowed if proper attribution is done]
6. Games submitted to Endless Jam 2023 should be fresh and exclusive. Please ensure they haven't been submitted to any other jams or competitions.
7. All submissions must be original works, crafted solely for the purpose of this game jam. We're excited to witness your creativity unfold!
