  • Hi Em, This is a cool idea! I've looked at your notes here and I'm glad you gave lighting this a shot. Here is some feedback: 1. You don't need candle light in this scene - you were right in removing a bunch of the lights here already, I'd just go ahead and remove the other orange / red ones. The biggest problem here is that you have some very saturated colors for lighting - it makes the entire thing feel very unnatural. Instead of a blue pointlight for the moon-light use a spotlight or directional, and start off with white - then slowly saturate it with blue. 2. Look into color key concepts or just general photos of moonlight - this will help when trying to tackle lighting this interior 3. The woodgrain on your cupboard/dresser here seems to be off - it's going horizontal instead of vertically. I'd recommend correcting that.
