- Hi Chloe, Great project - some excellent documentation and good workflows presented. I'm glad you're using decals here, and also very well. They are a very fundamental part of many studio workflows and I'm happy that you're investingating their use here. Some notes: 1. Metallic and roughness values are not vector3s but float1 (scalar). I would adjust the material functions you've made. 2. Your lighting is strong, but I feel like the scene loses a lot of color and vibrancy in your reference. What can you do to help make it a little more colorful? Maybe the walls could use some more colorful wallpaper - which will help the cubemaps you capture and the indirect lighting (good job setting that up) Some next steps I'd recommend in taking: 1. Let's look into putting something outside so we're not staring into the abyss. 2. I like that you took the time making a video, but it's a little chaotic. Here's a tip - setup a start and end position for the camera, and do a slow pan - then cut to another camera and so on. Try to avoid rotation around assets for now : think of the camera as a physical object that weighs 30lb and try to animate it as if a single person was hauling it around. 3. I'd love to see you use decals to add some dirt / wear and tear around the flooring (by the door) and the wall where kids would smear stuff.
