  • Heya I like the concept here - and I think on an asset level the owl is well sculpted. However, I'm seeing a lot of stretching and issues here with the moss that really take away from the asset as presented in the environment. I'd love to see you take the environment a bit further - and make explore some of the shape language present in the references you pulled - right now it's a fairly enclosed, almost cube like room. Try bringing back the chains in your concept and knocking the ceiling much higher, and even pushing back the walls. Even if you don't intend the viewer to be able to go that far back, it could end up giving you a lot of room to play for backdrop elements and shapes that will help frame the owl statue. In its current state, the lighting is a bit flat, and could use some more attention. I'd strongly recommend trying to shine a light from above and through the leaves to see what interesting shapes it creates.
