It is much more fun than it appears to be . The game also presents a pretty fun challenge. The controls are also pretty smooth.

Something I think you can improve is mask of the player, I know it an exact square just like the sprite but it feels really unfair to lose becuase the very tip of the player square touched the red one. Another thing, the jumping sound genuinely hurt my ears, I think you should change it for one with a lower pitch.
