Fantasy Game Jam

7 August - 9 August 2020

Create a game with a story set in a fantasy world!

This jam will be running on the weekend, starting Friday the 7th in the morning, ending on Sunday the 9th at night.

Submitted games can be of any genre, created with any engine, using any assets (as long as you have the rights to use them, of course). The only requirement is the fantasy setting. There will be a theme set at the start of the jam - this theme will be mostly for inspiration, and sticking to it is not mandatory.

This jam's theme is Prophecy!

Ranking

Games will be ranked on 5 criteria; fantasy-ness, concept, gameplay, graphics, and game feel.

Fantasy-ness is ranking how much the game's setting feels like a fleshed out fantasy world.

Concept is ranking how original, unique, and interesting the game's concept it. Because of this criteria, it's better to create an original game, rather than copying another game.

Gameplay is ranking how fun the game actually is to play.

Graphics is ranking how visually appealing the game is.

Game feel is ranking how good it feels to play the game. Music, sound effects, and particles are all thing that help improve the game feel.
