Welcome, to the Farewell North Game Jam!

What's Farewell North? It's an indie game about restoring color to the world, and we have a wonderful Discord community built up around the game with nearly 600 members! We're holding a game jam together to make some interesting games, and you're more than welcome to join us. 

This is going to be a super casual jam, so I encourage you to experiment and try to make something out of your comfort zone. Get creative! There will be no judging of the results, so it's a great chance to try something new, or even make it your first jam. 

The theme will be announced here and on Discord at the start of the jam on April 10 @ 12:00 UTC and submissions will be open until April 18 @ 12:00 UTC.

And the theme is... Light and Dark!

We held a vote on Discord and Light and Dark came out as the winner. Good luck everyone!

Rules

There are only a few rules: 

• Feel free to use any tool, engine, or framework that you like. Unity, Unreal, Roblox, paper and cardboard... all are accepted!
• You can work in a team of any size, or solo. 
• Games can be of any genre or art style, meaning you can make 2D or 3D, pixel art or realism, it's all up to you!
• You can use any art, music or assets that you have the legal right to use. This means premade art packs are fine, as long as you're allowed to make use of it. Don't forget to give proper credit as needed. 
• No offensive or otherwise NSFW material.
