Hello fellow game enthusiasts!
You've probably noticed, there's a bit of a drought when it comes to farm games. FarmJam 2023 was a small test, and it was received very well!
Now, here's the kicker:
I'm a huge fan of couch co-op, and farming games, My Wife and I play them together often, even on single-player, and we noticed, well... there isn't much to pick from that is out of the ordinary! So, this year, we are doubling the time to work on it from 15 Days, to 30 Days! 30 Days seems like a much, MUCH better time to manage everything needed, as boy oh boy, farming games are hard!
Now, I did mention Co-op. It is not mandatory of course, but if you wanna make a 2-player experience, go for it!
No pressure, just pure fun. Here's what's gonna happen as mandatory requirements:
🌾 Farm Themed: Your game should be all about that farm life - think crops, animals, and rural charm. Your chosen game theme can be anything! Sci-Fi, Horror, First Person, Bird's Eye, Whatever you like! There MUST be either Growable Crops, or Raiseable Animals.
🌞 Day and Night: Add some spice with a day/night system. How will it affect your virtual farm? OR OR OR OR 🌾 Add some seasonal surprises with a season system!

You only have to choose one! If you do not wish to do the chosen theme, you must at least have 2 from this list.
