Your game was good. For the most part, gameplay is functional, no bugs, no lag. Otherwise, it's not great. While playing at some point, the game lost it's charm, but ending was fun. Now, if you consider the topic (theme) of the game, it's rather difficult to comprehend and the horror element of it is lacking very much. Overall, the game is good.
Thank you for the feedback!
Could you tell me at which point did you start getting bored? Would it be better if I had fewer levels?
Don't get me wrong, the game is good, what's the most important in gaming is functionality, the rest is up to the taste, some like more levels, some few, it's not bad, rather subjective. You should be proud of your game. Overall I enjoyed playing it, just the music was little off and the theme did not match with me, that's it. Ending was superb. Good Job!
I'm not offended or anything. I welcome feedback. :D
Considering that all the levels were pretty much the same with a different maze, I assume that part felt kind of repetitive. That's why I'm wondering if this was boring or annoying.
I know you are not offending, I am saying that constructive criticism must have positive outcome. Your game was good.
Yet, if you want advice, I would recommend color change, maybe adding texture, maze part and matches was great, but, maybe add a special match, which can light entire room for only a second, would be fun. You can also add a book, which appears and disappears, so it's little challenging to find it, I mean lots of ideas. The game was not annoying, not at all, just little repetitive and not scary. That's all friend.
Really great ideas, thank you!
So here are some improvments you could have made: Make the door atleast be lit up since sometimes it was hard to find it. Better character and also at the end it didn't feel like a win wich I feel like it should be as you complete the game. But it was good and enteraining enough to make me play trough it. Good work!
Thanks for the feedback! You're definitely right for the player (and the rest of the graphics, to be honest) and the door. For the ending, though, I couldn't find it in me to have the player win since he wants to destroy the books. :P
The music is making me go even CRAZIER than seeing that amogus again
Imagine having to playtest dozens of times... :P
