I am going through all submissions to make all developers aware of an important Google form I've made.

I'm joining the IQ folks to help organize smaller events in between the main FQ event in order to help prevent us from getting too many games in main events. Right now, I have a planned structure for these events but I would like to hear from everyone who was in this event in order to tune things better. The survey is a bit long, but it covers as much as I could think of. If you can take the time to do the survey by June 1st, I would immensely appreciate it!

You can find the form here: https://forms.gle/P9LPYwERhJtpZzteA

I really wanted to try this, but I was alone, and no single-player mode. I don't feel right giving this game a rating, though... since I couldn't play it. Do you plan to create a single-player option?

Developer

I actually do plan on adding a single-player mode and it should be coming around the beginning of June. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I'll give this a follow and keep an eye out for that. Looks really fun!

I know others have said this before but a single player mode would be awesome! My 2nd controller isn't working atm so I couldn't try it out

Hi!

I couldn't play the main game because I was alone. The trailer looked intriguing so I was disappointed. A single player mode could be cool!

I tried the practice mode and was surprised by the complexity. Do you have a tutorial in the main game to help you learn step by step the combinations?

I could navigate the menus and noticed a few things that you might want to know:
The number of players needed a random amount of d-pad presses to change, not just one.
The SFX default value was at 0.
There was a lot of framerate drops in some menus and transitions, I have a good computer so I was intrigued. I found out you have a frame rate slider with a default of 10, if you insist in having it, set the default to 60.
In dictionary, it seems impossible to change modes to move to Add without erasing the last letter.

I would love to try the main game based on the trailer, I hope you consider it in the future.

Thanks for submitting your game!

Thank you Studio Boreli for playing Tricky Typing! I have taken your suggestions into account and am working on them right away, especially the Single Player Mode👍🏿

First, Clair de Lune, oomph. Made my day almost.

I tried to play around but couldn't get to the actual game because there is no single-player option.

But from what I see, and watching the trailer, it's too much for my taste. Can't imagine myself enjoying it without doing a 100-hour training. I am lost even when the hint is in front of me :D

As for technical suggestions;

1) Can hide the cursor when focused on the game since we are using a controller.

2) 0-100 range frame rate option seems a bit unintuitive. I suggest making it fixed numbers like 30-60-unlimited.

3) Also game started with normal framerates then when I changed some menus, it started to stutter. I figured that setting took effect in between and set it to higher.

4) It took a while for me to find my way out of the dictionary menu. It says change mode by holding RT-LT together but it needs to be more clearly worded and to be more on-your-face.
