Hi!! I played your game and it looks a promising game It have some issues, but it is understandable since the game is still in development, here there are the issues than I found:

First of all, the game starts very suddenly without any introduction of the story and you start like in a debug area, I will recommend to at least make an introduction of the story and make the player start in the first area so players don’t get confused when playing the game and is more instantly the starting Secondly, as Hythrain said there is a pot in the tower than you can keep opening and give you a ton of potions Thirdly, in the item building in Lapysbrok there are parts of the table than can be passed through them and have not collisions Also, it will be necessary than the game let you save so you can resume the game later, as now I didn’t find any option to save the game Also, it will be great to have an option to make the game fullscreen if it is not hard to implement to RPG Maker, it will be a great thing to have in the options

For the rest the game have a great combat system and a great game map Good luck working on it!! I hope it goes well!!

Jam Host (1 edit)

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.

So I've noted that the starting area has improved a lot from the last time I played this, but I've also noted that it still starts at the same spot, putting all of the story up to this point in paragraphs. My comments from the last time still stand, then. I'm also still unsure what mechanics you're testing, because everything still seems to be basic RPGMaker stuff.

However, I did want to bring up some bugs I witnessed. When I got a random battle on the map, it failed to load the image. Also, there was a pot in the tower that I could continually open and get tons of potions.

Hi DarkScream,

I received the same error reported by coffeedripstudios; there appears to be a file (windowskin) missing from this deployment.

Hi friend, Thanks for the report, this is now fixed in 0.2.6 which is uploading now. Curiously, the file was included in the package, it had just become corrupted/unreadable somehow - Tricky one.

TLDR changes since last Feedback Quest:

  • Starting area revamp, starting party adjusted
  • Additional POIs added with low level encounters to better prepare for the big dungeons
  • Audio & Visual upgrades as placeholders are replaced- Many town NPCs are now custom sprites
  • Playtest Camp/Guide NPC upgraded to better guide players
  • Story/dialogue polish

Testing Paths:

  1. Story/Main Gameplay in the Chilled Cordillera
  2. Exploration of future areas Stonefang Sierra, & The Shadewode
  3. Test characters and fight "combat dummy" at any level, at the Asqueria Playtester's Camp

Version history:

  • Patch 0.2.0 - Full notes linked in doc attachment.
  • Patches 0.2.1, 0.2.2- Hotfixes for stuff the patch broke
  • Patch 0.2.5 - Full notes linked in doc attachment.
