In seguito alla diffusione di Covid-19, le autorità italiane hanno disposto delle misure per contenere il contagio del virus. Tra di esse, la cancellazione di qualsiasi manifestazione, incluse quelle per l'otto marzo in tutta Italia.

L'8 marzo è da sempre un giorno di denuncia, di lotta e di rivendicazione dei diritti delle donne in tutto il mondo. L'8 marzo non è la festa delle donne è una giornata di informazione e consapevolezza circa la violenza di genere, le discriminazioni e le disuguaglianze. 

Non manifestare in una giornata così importante non ci mette fuori gioco, come qualcuno ingenuamente pensa. Ci dà lo stimolo per cercare nuove forme di lotta, per esistere  e resistere.

Speriamo che questa jam rappresenti una opportunità per nuove persone di avvicinarsi allo sviluppo e supportare allo stesso tempo il femminismo, in attesa di poter percorrere ancora una volta liberamente le strade delle nostre città.

Following the worldwide spread of COVID-19, italian government introduced restrictions to contain the infection. Among them, the cancellation of International Women's Day Celebrations in the streets, throughout Italy on 8 March.

8th March has always been a moment to denounce, fight and demand rights for women throughout the world. It isn't only the International Women’s Day, but also it is a moment to get informed and be aware about gender-based violence, discrimination and inequalities.

We are not out of the game, as someone may think. Not demonstrating in the streets give us an extra motivation to look for new ways of struggle, to exist and resist.

We hope this jam will be an opportunity to start making games and support feminism at the same time, waiting to walk again free through streets of our cities.
