Welcome to the first, but hopefully not last, game jam that I will be hosting.

This is a themed game jam where the theme is, quite simply, films. There are thousands of films out there, some with games and some without. Imagine a world where every single film had a game based off of it? Sounds impossible, right? In fact, it probably is near impossible. But let's address this and create something really special. A network of games based off of your favourite films.

I'm no game dev myself, although I have dabbled, but one thing I do love is games and, more specifically, indie games. Nothing beats seeing people's creations come to life and I thought it would be nice to provide an outlet for that.

Theme

Films that do not have a game already

The Rules

1) Your entry must be based off of a film

2) Your film cannot have a large game already based off of it. This does not include smaller games, unfinished games, indie games, etc. 

3) Your game does not have to fit your film to perfection but it does need to be clear what film it's based on, if only loosely. 

4) And, as always, follow itch.oi's Terms of Service and show respect to your fellow community members.

For the most part, rules are fairly chill! This is going to be a lot of fun more than anything else!

Judging

Everyone can vote, there are no real prizes here so let's keep it open to all. Although some of the higher rated ones might see some action on the socials!
