Really intuitive and useful. I wanna donate soon.
When I initially played this game I thought it was a demo, and I must admit that I was a bit dissapointed when I saw it's status was "released".
Even though it's only supposed to take half an hour, this should give the game opportunity to shine through in gameplay and, character and level design to compensate for it's short duration. It doesn't. Sound effects are bland and do not vary and the lack of any sort of music or ambient sounds makes it all the more obvious. Though the gameplay is not inherently flawed, it's not varied either. A shoot buttom, a jump button and a melee button. This can work really well if the levels are built to accompany the gameplay and challange the player, but small mazes with enemies that just line up for you to go "pew pew" make the whole experience rather dull.
A positive point would be the graphics, as, though not original, the design does look alright.
In the end it's a short, free game and does show some promise on the developer's side, but damn does it need more polishing.
