Acts 1 and 2 are funny and charming.

Act 3 is a mess.  Lots of long boring walls of text.  Too serious to be funny or charming, but too quirky to take seriously.  Lots of irrelevant, unbalanced game mechanics.  And somehow I have all the power to make stock purchasing decisions and no power at all to influence how the industries I am buying are run?  What does MB need me for anyway, if MB is ultimately in charge in all ways that matter?  For that matter, why does MB even care about money toward the end of the act?  The utility of money is that you can trade it for things other people have.  If you own everything and other people own nothing, then money has no more utility for you.

Act 4, well...  I am all for guilt-tripping the player for actual decisions they have made, but I suspect that the only way to avoid the disaster of Act 4 is to either stop playing, or keep playing but stop purchasing stock.  Not only are these unsatisfying as gameplay options, they don't even make sense in-universe.  If I don't purchase these industries, the industries still exist and still pollute.  The most direct way to exert control over how these industries are run is to purchase them.  My racoon civilization is built around recycling, so there's no reason to assume that we would run the industries worse than the humans.  No reason other than MB, that is.

Act 5 is nice again, for what it's worth.

My favorite incremental of all time, substantially beating out A Dark Room after something like 7 years undefeated.

Literally everything about this game is great, from the graphics to the music to the writing to the mechanics--it's like a love letter to incremental gaming, disguised as a dire warning about the pitfalls of capitalism. Or vice versa. And better yet, all the component parts work together to form a Trash Gestalt--somehow funny and clever and wise and poignant and sad.

Although the ending is an eensy bit of a copout, and Act 4 could have been a little shorter, I choose to believe that Karl Marx would be proud of this homage debris. My only regret is that there isn't an Act 6. Bravo.

Even though it's a story-heavy, not infinitely running game, I'll just HAVE to get back to it and really let some of the dialogue and themes sink in for a second time. Fun (evolution of) game mechanics, adorable design in an appealing, fitting and almost soothing color scheme. The dialogues and little blackboard notes have this modern fun twist to them, with a clear underlaying message or reference that's sure to make you laugh once you get it. I won't spoiler too much, but one thing I'll say: All the subliminal jabs and statements come together in an apparent, coherent message in the end that is sure to leave you in thought!

All in all, amazing little game. Not too short, not too long and extremely well thought-out and made! Good job, you guys :)

This Game is Haunted really did something simple and beautiful. The perfect capsule to spread awareness, aim the conversation, and nod to those trying to change things.
Thank you.

Well played. I did not expect such ending. Carefully crafted scene, with realistic storyline, props to the creator. Cannot wait for your next project.  :D
