Absolutely phenomenal gameplay. Back in high school, this is the game I thought I was getting into when I was invited to play D&D 3.5e. It's jampacked with fun, creating characters is a cakewalk, and failure is not a restriction on creativity. Death is flavour text. It's not about whether you die or not, because death is inevitable; it's about how you die.
The combination of wacky far-future ultra-violence, messy interpersonal relations between soldiers/living weapons, and the potent satire of the military industrial complex makes for a hoot of a time.
I had a ton of fun playtesting this game. In fact, I playtested it several times for that reason! You can find more about my personal opinion in the review I made:
Phenomenal game. Really delivers on the tacti-cool but late night goofy gaming vibes of a fps.
