an immersive larp about turning into a doll designed to be printed on vials of estradiol.
a game about a group of women forced into submissive domestic roles plotting to kill their husbands.
a third-party adaptation of dorley hall into rpg form.
hello sweetie. we've been waiting for you.
the forced feminization game jam is a 1-month tabletop roleplaying game jam hosted by amber autumn faebrooke and violet henderson focusing on stories about characters being nonconsensually turned into women, or otherwise feminized. forced feminization is a popular erotic and non-erotic premise, in particular in many transfeminine communities, but there are precious few tabletop roleplaying games dedicated to exploring the idea.
we're asking you to help us fix that.
this is not the consensual feminization jam, and the games coming out of it are going to be about characters who have changes made to their bodies and minds against their wills. these games are, of course, fiction, and fictional explorations of nonconsensual activities can have lots of real life value! just be sure you put in the proper content warnings. some of you will have become immediately uncomfortable upon seeing the concept of the jam, and that's fine too. consider this your dead dove warning: if you open the jam, you know what you're in for.
some of you will have seen the concept and immediately had the thought "what if i made a game which force-femmes the player?" this is complicated, because often, games will allow or even "force" players to do something which they want to do within the magic circle but which they also want to perform a disavowal of. it's not that you wanted to kiss that other person, it's just how the bottle spun. but at the same time, we aren't eager to discard the concept of consent entirely. for these reasons, we take the position that your game must neither obscure medical information (e.g. do not tell your player how to make diy hormones but lie about their effects) nor make it difficult to stop playing (e.g. do not weaponize social pressure to force players to stay at the table unless you have a really well defined exit button). and, of course, we encourage you to add your own player consent mechanics where appropriate.
these games might be aimed at cis men, trans women, people questioning their genders, literally just the author, or anyone else. they might be erotic, frightening, affirming, or anywhere else on the emotional spectrum. they might take any number of positions on what "feminine" is or looks like. they might be very conceptual or very precise. the only requirements are that the game you submit is:
the rest is up to you!
during each of our game jams, we like to award a few games with special commendations! you can put it on your game's itch page or what have you. we won't be judging what the "best" games are - instead, we have five different awards a game can win, each focusing on a different element of design.
these categories will be judged by the two game jam cohosts. we have non-overlapping social circles, so in order to reduce bias, when someone one of us knows submits a game, the other one of us will be the one to evaluate that game. we'll try not to give any one game multiple prizes, but it may depend on the submissions we get, and one person may receive prizes for multiple submitted games.
we lack the resources to effectively moderate a discord, but we intend to monitor the community posts actively. we encourage you to use the tag #forcedfeminizationjam when posting about your game! we'll be checking in on that tag occasionally on bluesky and tumblr.
for any questions, you can reach us at ambs@hamzardo.com or violethhenderson@gmail.com.
can you feel it yet? are the meds kicking in? we can't wait to see how you and your games turn out...
