An unabashed celebration of being whatever kind of queer you are!

Disclaimer: This title is in protest of a series of cruelly intentioned tweets made to the tabletop roleplaying community by an individual who decided to try to impose rules on people’s queerness. In this game jam you are encouraged to break all the rules and be whatever kind of queer your little gay heart desires.

The Fraudulent Gays Game Jam is about making games that aim to misbehave. You are encouraged to cross the lines and overstep the boundaries people have set out for you in the past. Make games where you get to be gay and do crimes, games about subverting others' expectations, or games about just staying in and snuggling as many different folx as you gosh darn please! No one can stop you.

Submissions are open from December 19 - February 14 (Palentine’s Day: the perfect time to hug, smooch, or play games with your friends! )

Submission guidelines: Create a tabletop, live action, or analog roleplaying game where you have fun and express or explore your queerness; these can be in the form of brand new, unique creations, or hacks of existing systems (with the original creator's permission of course).

Games submitted to the Fraudulent Gays Jam can be new creations or re-submissions of pre-existing games - multiple submissions are welcome as well.

This game jam is about breaking down barriers and helping people love and explore their queerness, not harming or hindering anyone - games that promote bigotry of any kind will be removed.

Keep safety and communication at the forefront of your plans and designs - we highly recommend utilizing the TTRPG Safety Toolkit by Kienna Shaw (@KiennaS) and Lauren Bryant-Monk (@jl_nicegirl). Additionally, you are encouraged to provide text-only or screen reader compatible versions of your games to ensure accessibility.

**The hosts encourage you to price your games so that you can be properly compensated for your work - though it is not a requirement for submission.**

At the end of the jam, a bundle will be compiled of all submissions that opt to participate - proceeds from which will be donated to GLAD. Please let us know if you want your submission to be included!

Feel free to shout about the jam, your ideas, and find others doing the same with the #FraudulentGaysJam tag.
