Welcome to the First Annual FRAY World Game Jam!  After the smashing success of the live FRAY Show in London in June in which two brothers, Tullio and Ziya enter a game jam contest together, we’re bringing a 48-hour game jam to you in real life!  Jump into the creative world of FRAY and get ready to JAM with us, online or in person in London for this weekend-long, music-inspired contest.

People of all skill sets and experience levels are welcome.

Theme of Jam:

Acoustic Adventures! The one requirement of our jam, incorporate at least one track from our music library! These tracks are created by some fabulous music producers we invited to take part in our jam project. We want you to take these tracks as inspiration, cut them up and mold them to fit into your own tracks, remix them, or even use parts of them as sound effects! The sky is the limit when it comes to this theme, and don’t feel like you can only use one!

Submission Window

The game jam will run from 6:00  pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, to 6:00  pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Submissions are due by 6:00  pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Participants are invited to attend live dance battle from 6 - 9:00 pm Sunday November 3rd while awaiting judges decision on jam winners. We plan to livestream this for our virtual attendees!

Anyone can participate in the jam. We strongly encourage participation from marginalized creators. You don't need any prior experience to participate!

You may work alone or on a team.  If you're under the age of 13, a parent or guardian should upload the game.

There is no limit on the number of people per team, and you may be on multiple teams, however, please know your limit!

You must upload a digital game to itch.io, which is playable by someone using a Windows PC. Your game should not require additional hardware or software to run.  The game should be suitable for a general audience, so we recommend you avoid strong language and excessive gore.

Your game should not contain nudity, or hateful language or visuals.

The itch upload limit is 1GB. You can compress your game as a ZIP file if needed.

WHAT PLATFORM CAN I USE TO MAKE MY GAME?

Submissions are accepted across multiple platforms (PC/console, mobile). To qualify for the finalist pool, your game must be ported to Android or Windows. Mac porting is optional. Analogue games, games created on proprietary platforms, or those requiring an emulator are not eligible.
