All those participating, use the code purismgamedev to save 10% on the purism shop! Welcome to the first Purism Free Software Game Jam! Here, we want to promote freedom-respecting software in the form of video games. It's not just tools that should be open source; games draw in the next generation of developers by inspiring them to learn to code. We believe that by creating and showcasing free software games, we can demonstrate the power and potential of open source gaming while also encouraging the community to prioritize freedom and user privacy. This event aims to bring together game developers, designers, and enthusiasts who are passionate about creating games that respect user freedoms. We are excited to see the innovative and creative games that will emerge from this game jam, and we look forward to supporting and celebrating the vibrant free software gaming community.
