I got a few letters twice in a row and I didn't understand the objective until I went and checked the gamepage. The character sprite was well done and I like the idea of climbing and jumping around but perhaps instead of putting the letters in the order they were collected, it would be more fun just to have them fill in the spots of the word.
Enjoyed the game!
Really liked the feeling of exploring the world. I think the idea could be really cool if it was more fleshed out, such as more content in-between each letter such as enemies and story. Although it's a short game when I found a letter it was a really nice feeling and knowing where to go after seeing a letter on your journey was satisfying.
I did come into the double letter bug that a few other people mentioned though which is unfortunate. Didn't really take anything from the gameplay though :)
Collected T twice as well :P
Nice payoff with that ending animation there, but otherwise agree that it feels a little empty and barren. The platforming controls were a little floaty and takes getting used to, but I like the fact that you could run up slopes and get a really high jump going, and the walljump feature is pretty fun to use.
Good controls. I like it. Even though you stick to the side-walls and can jump from there, it felt like part of the game.
But while definetely sticking to the summoning theme, I felt the game was a bit empty. After the first few letters, it got quite boring.
There's the problem of collecting 'T' twice, if you don't approach it carefully. And that the jump is affected if you're running on a slope. I guess you already know these.
But, all in all, a good experience. Keep it up! Maybe you could have added some enemies or something(that the demigod must destroy).
I keep getting double letters... this is a difficult "spell" indeed.
Sorry about that! We started late, and so we didn't have time to work out a few of the kinks. Try to jump on or under them to reduce the amount of times this happens.
