Gameplay: Less than 10 minutes
Vibes: Alright. Not bad, not good - does its job and is a game.
This is the first game I've ever played on Itch.io and despite its length, it exhibits a type of self-reflection and awareness that made me notice how I look at my own set of everyday circumstances. When I commute everyday, to and from work, I also thought about how meaningless and frustrating it is to live in the way. I thought the same thoughts so I chuckled with the protagonist's line of questioning.
Relatively straightforward gameplay and graphics are good! I have no complaints whatsoever. I went into it blind and didn't know what to expect tbh but it was alright. I think the length made it too short to feel any emotion that could make my review more negative or positive. I didn't want to rate it because I feel like it's a lil unfair since I was ambivalent about it. I gave it two stars just because I feel like it does its job, is a game, and I have no complaints about it. I just didn't feel anything, which is my main rationale for my ratings. Feeling excited or interested or curious about the gameplay would've helped.
I recommend playing this game if you want a short breather game or something that makes your brain go "huh, what's happening" without feeling like you're starting something momentous or overwhelming.
